The Samoset Resort has 178 guest rooms for students, instructors, exhibitors, and MCEMS staff, exclusively. Over the past few years we have listened to and read about concerns of EMS services actually driving to the Samoset with many reservations, directly after receiving the brochure, faxes being sent in, e-mails, etc. We always hope that those that live the farthest away will be able to reserve the accommodations they need as well. All brochures are mailed out on the same day via the postal service by bulk rate. We can not control when the postal Service delivers the brochure, but we feel that the reservation policy is a fair approach – room reservations at the Samoset will be by mail only. The Samoset staff will not accept any walk-ins, communications via phone, fax, or e-mail. The special Samoset reservations form provided within the brochure is the only form that can be used. The Samoset is a year-round resort situated on 230 ocean-front acres over-looking Penobscot Bay on the Midcoast of Maine, the area known as the “Lobster Capital of the World.”

A contemporary architectural masterpiece - the Samoset Resort offers 178 newly renovated guest-rooms and suites with private balconies or patios overlooking the Bay. The hotel is equipped with complimentary wireless internet access for all hotel guests, and each room offers cable TV, walk-in closets, individual air-conditioning and heating controls and all new furnishings.
A year-round recreational facility, you may want to take advantage of the newly renovated indoor swimming pool, hot tub, and steam saunas. Massages are available in the fitness center for additional fees.

Smoking Policy: Smoking is prohibited in classrooms, hallways, the exhibitor/vendor area, lobby, and at the banquet. Also, there will be no smoking on the balcony of non-smoking rooms. The Samoset has incorporated this policy and will be enforcing it. Thank you for your cooperation.
